Cheshire West and Chester Core Strategy
The Core Strategy is the strategic LDF document that will cover the whole local authority area and will set the vision and framework for other LDF documents. The Core Strategy will set out the long-term vision of how the Cheshire West and Chester area should develop and improve. A Local Development Scheme, which sets out which local development documents are to be prepared was approved by the shadow council and submitted to the Secretary of State in December 2008. Work on the Core Strategy began in December 2008.
