SHLAA
The event is not currently available for consultation.
The Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment (SHLAA) is required by national planning policy, set out in Planning Policy Statement 3: Housing (PPS3). It will identify sites with potential for housing; assess their housing potential; and assess when they are likely to be developed. Inclusion in the SHLAA does not necessarily mean that permission will be granted for residential uses. The SHLAA will inform LDF documents but does not itself allocate sites. It will however be a key document in helping to deliver housing sites in the district.
